Walks With Burros - Miles City

Walks with Burros Nature Camps are located on 3,000 acres in the Blue Mountains east of Miles City. The land represents many distinct environments; desert, wetlands, mountains, forests and badlands. Rich hues of diverse native grasses, healing herbs and flowers, sage, cedar and pine grace the red rock buttes, mountains and badlands. This land is pristine, it welcomes the footsteps and curious eyes of all who come to learn the secrets this natural environment has to share.

As described in "The Last Child in the Woods", human beings are innately attracted to nature. Biologically, we are still hunters and gatherers and there is something in us we do not fully understand that needs immersion in nature.

Camps and dates for the 2010 season will be announced in February. We are available for private family or group camps with a minimum of four days required.

Programs and activities for camps include Art in Nature, Birding, Geology, Ecology, Plant Identification and Collection, Drummaking, Stargazing, Animal Messages and more.
