Christmas at the Moss Mansion - Billings

Tuesday, November 17, 2009 - Saturday, January 02, 2010

Christmas at the Moss Mansion. Enjoy the spirit of the holiday season shown throughout this historic 1903 mansion with sixteen Christmas trees decorated by community volunteers and non-profit organizations. Guests are encouraged to vote for their favorite tree for the 'Peoples Choice' Award.

Designed by architect Henry Janeway Hardenbergh, this Historic House Museum epitomizes elegance at the end of the 19th century. The Moss family occupied the mansion until 1984 and their furnishings and personal family items are on display today.

Mattie Moss used Art Nouveau, Rococo and Moorish design motifs in the Sitting Room, French Parlor and Entry way to create an elegant Victorian home.

The mansion is closed for tours Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years Day.
