Montana Museum of Art & Culture - Missoula

The Montana Museum of Art & Culture acquires and preserves art that expresses the spirit of the American West and its relationship to the world. As a university and state museum, MMAC presents exhibitions and educational programs that explore local, regional and global themes.

Located on The University of Montana campus in Missoula in the Meloy and Paxson Galleries of the Performing Arts Radio Television Center (PARTV) at the corner of S. Van Buren and S. 6th Street East acros from the Adams Center, MMAC is one of the state's oldest and most prominent cultural reserves. The museum's Permanent Collection, begun in 1894, includes nearly 11,000 original works. MMAC became a state museum in 2001. Free parking at the northeast corner of the PARTV Center. Parking passes for sale at the galleries. Suggested donation of $5, students always free.

The Paxson and Meloy galleries of the Montana Museum of Art & Culture are located in the Performing Arts and Radio/Television Center on The University of Montana campus, at the corner of S. Van Buren and S. 6th Street East across from the Adams Center.
