The annual Stevensville Scarecrow Festival kicks off October 6-7, 2017. This is a fun, whimsical, creative and family-friendly event, and its free! Local businesses, clubs, families, and organizations make creative scarecrows to display, and competition is fierce for the coveted Peoples Choice Awards! Vote for your favorites on Friday evening, October 6 from 4-9 pm, or Saturday, October 7 from 9am to 2pm.

 

First Friday evening also includes Living Statues on Main Street, dancing scarecrows, music, food, kids carved/decorated pumpkin contest, face painting, straw bale maze, business specials throughout downtown, and more. Saturdays fun includes scarecrow viewing and voting, straw bale maze, bouncy house, giant slide, free kids movie, face painting, pumpkin bowling, business specials, and Farmers Market.

EVENT SCHEDULE:

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 6, 4:00-9:00 pm:

Scarecrow viewing and voting (4-9pm)

Living statues throughout downtown (5-8pm)

Kids' carved/decorated pumpkin contest (5-8pm)

Face Painting

First Friday business specials, music, food, festivities

Straw bale maze for kids (4-9pm)

Dancing Scarecrows performance (7-7:05pm)

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 7, 9:00 am - 2:00 pm:

Farmers Market (10 am - 2 pm)

Scarecrow viewing and voting (9am - 2pm)

Bounce house and Giant Slide (10 am - 2 pm)

Face painting

Free Kids Movie at Groovz Studio

Pumpkin bowling

Food, fun, shopping, and festivities all day!

Scarecrow viewing continues all week (until Sat, Oct 14).
