Festival Amadeus - Whitefish

A dynamic lineup of musicians and guest artists performing the music of Mozart, Brahms, Haydn, Beethoven-and many others-is planned for the 2009 "Festival Amadeus" on July 27 through August 1 in Whitefish. The event is a production of the Glacier Symphony and Chorale and will offer five consecutive evenings of chamber and orchestra concerts plus a community picnic and an opening night "Evening with the Artists" reception.

Festival Opening: An Evening with the Artists

An engaging evening of music and friends with pianist Grace Nikae, cellist Stephen Framil and bass-baritone Ricardo Herrera, hosted by Maestro Zoltek. Enjoy our new Festival Amadeus boutique wine, hors d'oeuvres and the unveiling of the "Mozart in the Mountains" painting by Jennifer Li.

Festival Passes include reserved seat tickets to 5 concerts (Tuesday through Saturday) and are fully transferable. Cost of pass also includes a free gondola ride up Big Mountain courtesy of Whitefish Mountain Resort, and access to a reduced price for the Monday "Evening with the Artists" event.

Single reserved seat tickets to all events are available by calling the GSC office at 257-3241 or purchasing online. The Box office will be open during Festival Week from 11:00 am-1:00 pm at the O'Shaughnessy Center, and starting at 5:00 pm at the O'Shaugnessy Center on Monday through Thursday and the WF Performing Arts Center on Friday and Saturday.
