Description

Sandpiper Gallery, a non-profit organization, offers monthly art shows of prominent local and state artists with specialized talents. A ‘meet the artists’ reception in held at each new opening. Workshops in various mediums are offered to anyone interested. A gift shop features original paintings, cards, pottery’ prints and more. On the second Saturday in August, a juried Outdoor Art Festival is held. Participants from Montana and many western states sell both art works and crafts. Some of the proceeds go for higher education art scholarships for Lake County students pursuing an art career. The gallery is open Monday-Friday, from 12:00am-5:00pm and Saturday, from 12:00am-4:00pm. For further information call 883-5956.

Sandpiper Gallery is located in the Flathead valley, at the southern tip of Flathead Lake, off Highway 93, in Polson. Situated in the Library building, the gallery is one block north of the stoplight in downtown Polson.
