Grinnell Trail - Glacier National Park

The Grinnell Trail begins at the south end of the Many Glacier Hotel or at the picnic area. At the head of Josephine Lake, the trail branches to Grinnell Lake (3.5 miles), with little elevation gain, or to the glacier (5 miles), with a 1500 foot rise. A boat trip shortens the walking distance by 2 miles. Naturalist led trips are given, check for specific times in the Glacier guide.
