Ignite The Nites - Libby

The Igniters Car Club, started in 1961, annually puts on the Igniters Ignite The Nites the 3rd weekend in August. All makes and models of cars, trucks and motorcycles are encouraged to attend.

The weekend kicks off on Friday with afternoon registration. The Poker Run is Friday afternoon and evening. There is local cruising in the evening then a Neon and Flame Throwing Contest at dusk.

On Saturday, the main street of Libby is blocked off for the Car Show with approximately 180 beautiful cars on display. There are a wide variety of vehicles to drool over including classics, antiques, muscle cars and even drag race cars. If you're into checking out stock original vehicles or modified vehicles, it's here for the looking. Awards are presented at 3:00pm. Saturday during the car show is a poker walk. After the car show awards is the Burn Out Contest at the local motocross track. Saturday evenings entertainment will be held in the beautifully remodeled Libby Memorial Center where a spectacular, funny rock and roll stage show will be performed.
