Montana Auto Collection - Deer Lodge

Take a drive through time at the Montana Auto Collection part of the Old Montana Prison Complex. Also listed as a "USA Today" top ten must see car museum. It will be a great experience for visitors of all ages. View the transition from the carriage to the car and the effect that the car has had on our lives. You will see over 200 vehicles from the 1890s through 2022. It is the story of people and cars (a love affair) and how the car has been adapted to suit our needs and personalities.

The Montana Auto Collection is located in the Old Montana Prison Complex, which houses five unique attractions inside its historic prison walls. The complex includes the Old Montana Prison, Powell County Museum, Frontier Montana Museum, Yesterday's Playthings and the Montana Auto Collection.

One fee covers all museums.

The Montana Auto Collection is located 1106 Main Street in Deer Lodge off I-90 using exits 184 or 187. Entry is through the Old Montana Prison Museum Visitors Center.
