Douglas Creek Cabin - Deer Lodge

Remotely located, Douglas Creek Cabin is a favorite of hunters during the rifle and bow seasons. The cabin is also popular during the winter months to snowmobilers. The facility has a 6 person capacity. There is no electricity/water/sewer site hookup. Remote location, an hour from emergency services or nearest town. There is an outhouse located near the cabin. Bears frequent the area. All food must be kept in approved containers. The Beaverhead-Deerlodge visitor/travel map is necessary to find the route to Douglas Creek Cabin. Snowmobile access depends upon winter weather and wind conditions. During a heavy snow year, a snowmobile could be necessary for 8 miles.

The non-refundable rental fee is $20.00 per night for up to seven consecutive nights.

Douglas Creek Cabin is located 10 miles northwest of Philipsburg. From Deer Lodge, take Interstate 90 west to Exit 153 (Drummond). Take Montana (about 2 miles south of Hall) Highway 1 for 10 miles. Turn left on Forest Service Road 707. Travel southeast about 9 miles to the cabin.
