We like to think that old places have soul. Well, that's exactly what you'll find inside our historic brick walls.

Built in 1882 and now listed in the national register of historical places, this "Italianate" style building is part of St. Louis Block in downtown Helena, MT. This location has traditionally been a focal point of night life in the area. Prior to The Windbag Saloon, which opened in 1977, establishments such as a Burlesque Hall, Movie Theatre and a Bowling Alley all called this place home.

We are a full service bar, with pub-style American food. We have tastefully renovated our historic home to provide a more modern and comfortable environment for our customers. If you're in the mood for great service and a little downtown Helena history, we are the place to go!
