The motel is located just 26 miles south of the Hell Creek Recreation Area on Fort Peck Lake. The motel is also located in the heart of dinosaur country where a T-Rex was recently found.
The Garfield Hotel, built in 1919, has been newly remodeled to reflect the great scenery and wildlife of the Missouri River Breaks. Owners Kent and Chevell South invite you to come enjoy Montana's finest hunting and fishing. Enjoy fishing for trophy walleye, sauger, northern pike, smallmouth bass, and lake trout, or just have fun exploring the 1,500 miles of shoreline on Fort Peck Lake.
