Milk River Gospel Jamboree - Malta

Friday, June 22, 2012 - Sunday, June 24, 2012

The Milk River Gospel Jamboree is a three-day annual event held the last full weekend of June, that includes Sunday. The Jamboree will be held at the Malta High School Auditorium, corner of 8th Street and 2nd Avenue West. Hours of music are Friday night at 5:00pm to 10:00pm, Saturday 10:00am to 10:00pm and Sunday 1:00pm to 5:30pm. This is a family event featuring southern gospel, gospel praise, country western gospel, contemporary gospel and inspirational gospel music. Each year 12 to 14 bands from Phillips County, across Montana and Canada participate in the jamboree.

Malta has a great museum, a dinosaur field station, a great walleye fishing experience at Nelson. Also Fort Peck Lake and the famed Missouri Breaks are about an hour away. Fishing, sightseeing, boating and wildlife viewing besides the Milk River Gospel Jamboree.

Trafton Park has plenty of room for your RV or tent and there are several hotels and restaurants within walking distance. Admission to the jamboree is free. For more information please contact Jim Fauth 406-654-2745 or John Koss at 406-654-1292 or jskoss@mtintouch.net
