Conrad Transportation and Historical Museum - Conrad

Transport yourself back in time to discover how the west was settled. Peek at ancient trails, learn the mountain man's role, 'travel' the Whoop Up Trail, and experience a 'taste' of the early 1900s. Visit one of the most complete drug store collections in the northwest, then step to the general store complete with a cash register over 100 years old. Experience homesteading in the early days of Montana in our recreated homestead shack.

Housed in a former car dealership, the Conrad Transportation and Historical Museum has a little something to interest everyone in the family. From foot-trail, to steamboat, to railroads, to cars, find out about the development of the west through transportation.

Visit the gift shop full of unique products, arts and crafts made locally. Books and wood working are available for reasonable prices.

Stroll through the antique auto exhibit with showcases of auto-memorabilia collections, such as badges, accessories, tools, parts, oil and gas pumps, petro-memorabilia, license plates and 50 steering wheels.

Stop by and see for yourself!
