DescriptionProgram/ Event: National Trails Day
Description: Hikes are taking place at First Peoples Buffalo Jump State Park, Tower Rock State Park, Sulphur Spring Trailhead, Benton Lake National Wildlife Refuge, Rainbow Dam complex and Rainbow Waterfall, and historic walking tour of local churches and walking tour of the historic railroad district. A River's Edge Trail bike ride and north shore of the Missouri River trail project will also take place. Limited space is available in shuttles. Please call to RSVP for activities. Registrations start's May 1, 2008. Call the Lewis & Clark National Forest Headquarters at 791-7700 from 8 am-5 pm to RSVP.

Schedule for shuttles: 9 AM Leave for Tower Rock State Park, First Peoples Buffalo Jump State Park and historic walking tour of local churches. 9:15 AM Leave for Sulphur Spring Trailhead and walking tour of historic railroad district 9:30 AM Leave for Benton Lake National Wildlife Refuge and River's Edge Trail bike ride 9:45 AM Leave for Rainbow Dam and Rainbow Waterfalls walking tour
Where: Meet at Paris Gibson Park in Great Falls, MT at 9 AM for shuttle services or meet at destinations for hikes. Walks and bike ride will start at Paris Gibson Park. Shuttle service not provided for trail work project.
