Home Gulch Campground - Augusta

Home Gulch Campground stretches along the North Fork of the Sun River between two towering cliffs at an elevation of 4,580 feet. Most of the 15 sites overlook the river and are shaded by aspen and alder trees. Maximum trailer length is 35 feet. The interior road is narrow.

This is bear country--practice proper food storage techniques. This is a pack it in, pack it out, basic campground with handicap accessible toilets and drinking water. Pets are allowed if on a leash. Fishing may be enjoyed by the angler at the campground. A fee is required. Camping is limited to 14 days.

In Augusta, take Manix Street west (toward Gibson Reservoir) 3.7 miles to Gibson Reservoir sign. At the intersection, turn right and go 16.8 miles to campground sign. Turn right at sign into campground. Note: Manix Street turns into Forest Route 108. At the intersection, the road turns into dirt for 15 miles, then becomes paved for 1.8 miles to the campground.
