Kings Hill Campground - Neihart

Kings Hill Campground is located in the Lewis and Clark National Forest in the Little Belt Mountains at an elevation of 7,400 feet. The campground, pack it in, pack it out, is located on top of Kings Hill Pass in a thick stand of conifers just off Highway 89, adjacent to Showdown Winter Recreation Area. From the campground, drive up to the manned Porphyry fire lookout tower for some great views of the valley below. In fact, given no fear of heights, one can climb the tower for even better vistas. The campground has 17 campsites and is convenient to the Kings Hill West and Kings Hill East mountain bike network of trails--contact the Kings Hill Ranger District Office for maps and details.

Pets are allowed if on a leash. Please limit stay to 16 days. A fee is required for the use of this campground.
