Description

A Lazy H Outfitters provides a full range of summer and fall back country recreation activities for a limited number of guests each year.

In the summer we invite you to explore Montana's Bob Marshall Wilderness on horseback. Adventure awaits you in the rugged heart of the West. Enjoy fun filled days of riding, hiking, fishing, and camping. Although it is rugged land, we do an excellent job of taking care of you and providing the small comforts that make a wilderness trip truly enjoyable. This gives you the time to really enjoy your trip. Perhaps you prefer photography, riding in the open meadows, or fishing in crystal clear mountain streams. Experienced guides and gentle horses make for a safe, comfortable and memorable trip.

In the fall we invite you to hunt some of Montana'vs finest big game herds in the most beautiful hunting areas of the state. We hunt both the early bugle season as well as the late season migrations. Our early season hunting camps are located deep in Bob Marshall Wilderness at the head of the Middle Fork of the Flathead River. We hunt elk, mule deer, and bear from these camps. Hunts start in mid September and end at the end of October. In November we move to our late season camp located on the South Fork of the Two Medicine River very close to Glacier National Park, From here we hunt elk and mule deer until mid November. In all camps horses are used to get to select areas and mules are used to pack gear and game.
