Description

Maple Guest House, built in 1996, is a two-bedroom, one-bath guest house featuring recycled timbers in rustic post and beam architecture complemented by a modern full kitchen, bath, wireless internet and laundry facilities. Ideally suited for four-person occupancy, it has a queen bed in one bedroom and two twin beds in the other. The Magpie Guest House is situated at the end of a lane, adjacent to 80+ acres of undeveloped and developed park lands. Formerly the home site of an engineer for the Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul Rail Road, the property fronts on the now abandoned but historical rail line which ran from Bozeman to Gallatin Gateway. One can ski out the door and connect to the Lindley Park cross country ski trail system, or walk a block to the town sledding hill, ice skating rink, outdoor municipal swimming pool, and tennis courts, or historic downtown Bozeman, where you can find the 2007 completed LEED certified public library. The owners, Kathy and Jeff Ball, have lived in Bozeman for over twenty years. Montana State University graduates and active community members, we know of many activities, services, and secret spots. While we won't share them all, we'll gladly steer you in a direction which will give you a glimpse of why we and many others feel southwest Montana is such a unique and wonderful place. We can help with locating fishing and hunting guides, boat shuttles or rentals, catering, or even baby-sitting! Please ask; we want your trip to be positively memorable.

Online brochure available on our website.
