Indian Uprising Gallery - Bozeman
Indian Uprising Gallery is dedicated exclusively to Native American art featuring the unique beauty and spirit of the Plains Indians.
The Gallery was launched in 1993 to give Native American artists a platform for their artistic vision. Today, one-of-a-kind art and fine crafts of more than 50 distinguished artists are showcased here. The artists, many of them award-winning, are Blackfeet, Lakota, Crow, Cheyenne, Cree, Chippewa, etc. Although vastly different from each other, they share a common inspiration that is deeply rooted in the rich tradition and heritage of their ancestry.
The Gallery specializes in works, such as painted hides, ledger drawings, sculptures (in bronze, stone, wood), bead/quill works, parfleches and much more.
Indian Uprising Gallery with its discriminating selection of objects is a rich source for collectors and interior designers nationwide.
