A Cabin in Paradise - Livingston

This vacation home offers 1 1/2 kitchens and has 3 bedrooms, a master with a queen bed and private bath with a garden tub and separate shower, the other 2 bedrooms each have a full and one also has a full bottom and twin top bunk bed set, and have a shared bathroom. The rest of the house consists of dining area, living room, family room, 1/2 bath, laundry room and rec room with a bar, pool table and sauna. The house has 2 large decks, the front a great place to sit and enjoy the outstanding views, and the back deck with a hot tub, barbecue and outdoor eating area. There is also an outdoor fire pit for roasting hot dogs and marshmallows, horseshoe pits and a fenced backyard with a play area for kids.

This home is located in the heart of the beautiful Paradise Valley, 15 miles south of Livingston, Montana, which provides you the unique opportunity to experience the old west at it at its best. There are numerous art galleries, and museums for your enjoyment. There are also locally owned stores for all your shopping needs and wonderful restaurants for your dining pleasure. Bozeman is about a 45 minute drive away and has the area's major airport. Then we are surrounded by 3 mountain ranges that give awesome views and endless outdoor activities. We have the Absorka Mountain range to the East, the Gallatin range to the West and the Crazy's to the North.

There are many National Forest Service accesses which provide trails for hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, fishing, hunting, cross country skiing, snow shoeing and some for motorized vehicle access, such as four wheelers, dirt bikes, snowmobiles and ORV's. Most of these accesses will lead you to some of the areas beautiful lakes, streams and waterfalls. Another wonderful opportunity is having access to the beautiful Yellowstone River, with some of Montana's best fishing, canoeing, rafting and white water rafting. There is a local private airport close by so you can see all of the beautiful mountain ranges lakes, rivers, National Park, resorts and towns from the air, in your own plane or on a scenic flight.

Top thirteen reasons we believe this is a great place to vacation. (no particular order) 1. The View: The views from the house are outstanding. The Absorka range has some of most beautiful mountains around including Emigrant Peak (10,915 ft.) one of the biggest Peaks in the area. 2. Horses: If you have them bring em along. We have a place for them as well, a paddock with shelter, underground water, pasture and an outdoor riding arena. We also have a 20x20 dog kennel and dog house. (No pets in the house, Sorry) 3. Airplanes: If you fly, would like to learn or just want to take a scenic flight, this is the place to vacation. The local private airport has a 5700' long turf runway, indoor hanger storage and outdoor tie downs. Services include Nav Gas, certified mechanic, flight instruction, airplane rentals and scenic flights. The identifier is MT48 or Flying Y. 4. The Sauna/REC Room: This is one of the best places in the house. Sit in the sauna and relax, shoot a game of pool, play darts or Foosball or just hang out around the antique bar (Early 1900's) all while listening to your favorite music on the built in stereo system. 5. Hot Tub: There is nothing better than this, especially after a day of fishing, touring Yellowstone Park or hiking the various local trails or local shops in Livingston. This is also a great place to relax and enjoy the many stars in Montana's Big Sky. 6. Chico Hot Springs: Chico is about 10 miles away and offers natural hot springs pools, guided horseback rides, a day spa, and one of Montana's finest restaurants. 7. Yellowstone National Park: The park is a short drive (35 miles) away, be sure to bring your camera and binoculars to see all the wonderful and beautiful sites Yellowstone has to offer. Buffalo, Elk, Deer, and Antelope to name a few and there is also the famous Old Faithful Geyser and the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. 8. Kids Play Area: We have a fully fenced backyard where kids can run wild. There is a play hut with swings and a slide, a sand box and wooden train for them to enjoy. 9. The Yellowstone River: In about 5 minutes you can be on the river fishing, rafting or maybe just for a picnic with the family. There are many local fishing and rafting guides available in the area if you desire. 10. Free Long Distance: within the U.S. free Internet and Satellite TV. We also have a small video library of movies for your use and enjoyment. 11. Year Round Access: The house is accessible all year round for all seasonal activities. 12. Hunting: Numerous opportunities for a variety of big game animals. The area has Elk, Mule Deer, Whitetail Deer, Moose, Mountain Goats, Big Horn Sheep, Antelope, and Black Bear. The garage can be used to hang your game and prepare for processing. 13. Us: We would like you to know we want you to have the best vacation possible, and we're full time area residents and are available at all times if needed.
