Gardiner Chamber of Commerce - Gardiner

With activities for every season, Gardiner is the original entrance, and only year-round, drive-in entrance to Yellowstone National Park. Since 1903, the Roosevelt Arch has marked the North Entrance to Yellowstone. President Theodore Roosevelt dedicated the Arch before an estimated 5,000 spectators. An early trappers' settlement in the late 1800s, Gardiner is centered in an area that once thrived on coal and gold mining. The Yellowstone River runs through town, offering anglers excellent fishing. River rafting and horseback riding are especially popular with guests to the area. The Gardiner Chamber of Commerce assists visitors with their choices for accommodations and activities throughout the year.
