Description

Yellowstone Mountain Guides invites you to enjoy one of the unique aspects of our Yellowstone outfitting experience in our combination of backcountry horseback travel, fly fishing and hunting guide service. We have a solid traditional background with horses and mules. We also have years of experience fishing every part of the Yellowstone region. We have provided many guests with an introduction to fly fishing in our area water with experienced anglers. We can provide all of the equipment and flies that you will need, upon request.

Our pack trips are the only way to see the best of Yellowstone. We combine many activities on our trips. Fly fishing wild trout, riding dependable saddle horses, enjoying gourmet meals, photographing wildlife and hiking with an experienced naturalist are activities you can enjoy. You will enjoy cowboy poetry, western lore and Yellowstone history around the campfire each evening!

An experienced crew of guides allows us plenty of time to spend fly fishing, learning about horses and mules, setting up our comfortable camps, and exploring the natural world around us. The food is simply the best that can be prepared over a campfire! Trips are put together after speaking with you and arranging a trip with other folks like yourselves with similar interest. Or you can form a group of your friends or family.

Fall hunting is also available for elk and deer. We offer backcountry or private ranch hunting in September, October and November.

Terry and Angela Search look forward to guiding you in Yelllowstone Country!
