Black Mountain Outfitters, Inc. - Emigrant

Black Mountain Outfitters offers summer vacation pack trips and day rides and early rifle bugle season elk hunts in the gorgeous Absaroka-Beartooth wilderness area. We camp in world-famous Buffalo Forks of Slough Creek, just north of Yellowstone Park and are permitted by the US Forest Service to operate our camp. We are also permitted by the National Park Service to offer scenic day horseback rides in Yellowstone National Park.

General season finds us on our private hunting lease north and east of Livingston, where we stalk elk, mule deer, whitetails and antelope on nearly 50,000 acres. During the winter season we are at home in beautiful Paradise Valley, twelve miles south of Livingston in southwestern Montana, hunting trophy-quality mountain lions with Redbone hounds.

Outfitting is our only business. We will work hard to make your special trip the memory of a lifetime!
