Gardiner's Annual NRA Rodeo - Gardiner

Friday, June 18, 2010 - Saturday, June 19, 2010

The Annual NRA Gardiner Rodeo will be held at the Jim Duffy Arena on Highway 89, just north of town. Events are as follows: Bull Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, Bareback Bronc Riding, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping, Calf Roping, Ladies Breakaway Roping, Ladies Barrel Racing, Junior Breakaway Roping & Junior Barrel Racing. Each rodeo event starts at 6pm. If there are enough contestants, Slack will start at 1:00pm on Friday - slack is free for the public to watch. Rodeo entrance fee is $7 per adult and $3 per child 6-12, Children 5 and under are free. A parade will be held on Saturday, at 2:00pm. The parade route goes from the Gardiner School to Gardiner Rodeo Grounds.

The Gardiner Rodeo Club will be selling advance tickets to the rodeo this year. If you purchase your tickets in advance you will save $1 on Adults and $.50 on Children 6-12. The Gardiner Rodeo Club will be selling raffle tickets for the Annual NRA Rodeo Raffle. Raffle drawing will be held during the Saturday night rodeo. Tickets are $5 each or 3/$10. The Rodeo is sponsored by the Upper Yellowstone Roundup Association - Gardiner Rodeo Club.

The Gardiner Community Center will have a dance on Friday night after the rodeo, from 9pm - 2am. Admission is $7 and the doors open at 9:00pm. All ages welcome. Must present a valid I.D. and be 21 or older to drink.
