the 2500 block of Montana Ave. will be rockin’ once again with Montana’s urban music festival, which attracts thousands to the historic downtown for two nights of blues and rock. Now in its 18th year, the festival opens at 7:30 p.m. Thursday with a free, all-ages show on the Stillwater Stage, featuring Chubby Carrier and The Bayou Swamp Band. Mudslide Charley, Nick Schnebelen Band and Marcia Ball perform Friday on the Stillwater Stage; appearing on the Budweiser Stage are Hawthorne Roots, Chubby Carrier and the Bayou Swamp Band, and George Thorogood and The Destroyers. Arterial Drive, Little Hurricane and Postmodern Jukebox are Saturday’s headliners; the Stillwater Stage features Not Your Boyfriend’s Band, Josh Hoyer and Soul Colossal and Kalo. Concert-goers must be 18 or older; full concessions are available.
