Saturday Family Art Workshop: Word Art and Superpowers - Missoula

Many artists have explored incorporating text into their art. Inspired by the exhibit, “Hard Edge/Soft Ground: Access and Power,” participants will brainstorm to uncover their personal “power word.” Jennifer Ogden will demonstrate simple watercolor techniques to emphasize or fade the letter shapes into an abstracted, unified composition to create artworks that show personal power. The whole family is invited to make art together in these artist-led, free workshops. Please arrive a few minutes early to ensure a spot. Children under 7 should be accompanied by an adult. All materials provided  just bring an open and creative mind.
