Five world-renowned artists are coming to Whitefish July 21 for an art show at the Cypress Yard event space. Meet the accomplished artists and see their new collections, created for this first-time-ever showing. Participants are: Nancy Dunlop Cawdrey, a Montana artist known for her colorful impressionism (westerns, landscapes, animals and florals); she’s also the official artist for Glacier National Park. Aldo Luongo (Argentina) is one of today’s top romantic impressionists and master of the figurative form. Larissa Morais (Russia) is an experimental realist and former restorer of 15th and 16th century paintings, renowned for her highly-detailed and elegant compositions. Lyle Sopel (Canada) is an acclaimed precious stone carver and master jade sculptor. His son, Kurtis Sopel (Canada), creates exquisite jade and precious stone sculptures and jewelry.
