Big Sky Classical Music Festival - Big Sky

The ninth annual festival opens Friday with a ticketed event featuring special guest, acclaimed clarinetist Jonathan Gunn, along with Angella Ahn and Friends at the Warren Miller Performing Arts Center ($15-$35). The festival continues Saturday with a free concert at Town Center Park with Dallas Brass, one of America’s foremost musical ensembles. The group’s repertoire includes classical masterpieces, Dixieland, swing, Broadway, Hollywood and patriotic music. On Sunday, the Big Sky Festival Orchestra, with Maestro Peter Bay and guest artist Jonathan Gunn, offers a free concert at Town Center Park that includes Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto in A Major, Mendelssohn’s Symphony No. 4 in A Major, and two selections from Ravel.
